p:ear youth featured in OPB story on homeless students

One of p:ear's transition students was featured in a recent Oregon Public Broadcasting story on homeless students and the challenges they face in pursuing an education. Despite all the obstacles, Kyle still finds inspiration to go school:
“Teachers have affected my life more than anyone throughout my entire life. Specifically my English teachers because it’s always been my best class. They’ve been the biggest supports that I’ve had. I’ve had English teachers take me to their house for the holidays. I’ve had English teachers over the summer invite me over.”
Teachers and mentors DO make a difference. Support p:ear's education and transition programs with a gift this holiday through theWillamette Week Give!Guide.
